This program is designed to address overall problems of the youth associated with personal growth. It’s specific design will address those areas that will prepare the youth to deal with skills and ways of addressing the ‘real world’. The program is a year long program that offers sessions on a weekly basis. Participants are required to go through an assessment process that will identify and evaluate strengths and weaknesses. After participants complete their assessments they are provided with a group plan of action and recommendations that will be designed to address individual areas of concern.

Workshops and/or program activities will be offered in the following areas: 1) Social Graces, 2) Personal Hygiene, 3) Proper Nutrition, 4) Peer Relations, 5) Adult/Teen Relations, 6) Preparation for Responsible Adult Life, 7) Financial Responsibilities, 8) Domestic & Foreign Relations, and other programs will be added based on ongoing program evaluation.

Upon completion of the one year program, participants will be offered the opportunity to participate in the “maintenance” component which will provide, as needed, additional assistance to address ongoing concerns. All sessions will be conducted by the programs’ director and other expert consultants and professionals in related fields as needed.

All activities related to this program will be monitored and evaluated by the organization’s Board of Directors.
